Description
ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2021-2023 Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban and 2021-2023 GMC Yukon/Yukon XL suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. With wheel travel and ride quality in mind, ICON engineers researched each component of the vehicle platforms suspension and addressed any areas where performance could be extracted. This Stage 4 system includes vehicle-specific tuned front and rear 2.5 Series coilover shocks featuring remote reservoirs for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle feel through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 2.5-3.25 of front lift and 3-4 of rear lift over stock for an aggressive stance and allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. ICON 2.5 Series coilover shocks feature a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear. ICON’s exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves are included for precisely dialing in your suspension performance. CDCV controls fluid flow under compression, allowing you to achieve the perfect tune whether driving on the street, slow-crawling through the rocks or mobbing across the desert at full throttle.
- 2.5 Series coilovers feature corrosion resistant CAD plated shock bodies with 7/8″ shafts
- Adjustable front coilovers provide 2.5-3.25” of front lift height
- Adjustable rear coilovers provide 3-4” of rear lift height
- All shocks are ICON CDCV equipped for 10 settings of external compression damping adjustment
- APPLICATION NOTE #172: For vehicles equipped with electronic controled shock use part number 71021
- APPLICATION NOTE #173: For vehicles equipped with air suspension use part number 71022
- Fabricated rear toe links allow for proper rear end alignment with taller ride height
- FK Rod End bearings provide extended longevity and minimal deflection
- ICON shocks feature vehicle specific tune for superior performance and ride quality
- Increased lift height allows for fitment of larger and more aggressive tires
- Remote reservoirs maintain cooler operating temperatures during extended off-road use
- Shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable
- TECH NOTE: SUV submodels equipped with Magnetic Ride Control and/or Adaptive Air Ride suspesnsion require addional parts (see application notes)
- Tubular Upper Control Arms with Delta Joint ball joints for added strength, durability, and alignment spec range
- Up to 20% increase in front wheel travel over stock
- OEM Wheels & Tires Fitment: Yes
- APPLICATION NOTE #129: Will not work with factory installed electronically controlled suspension
- APPLICATION NOTE #162: Not compatible with factory air ride equipped vehicles
- APPLICATION NOTE #55: Shocks are fully serviceable. Lift heights indicated are for a stock equipped vehicle.
- APPLICATION NOTE #85: Advertised lift height ranges are for a stock equipped vehicle. Increasing weight of vehicle due to accessories will alter lift range.
